You have to be careful to tighen the nuts properly no matter if you use a torque wrench or not.

well I did do it 'properly', but overtorqued one 'cuz I didn't have a
tool to measure, other than 'gumption properly means use a torque wrench, so this statement doesn't make sense Quote:

"Properly" as in "tightening the lugs in the correct sequence." (Not saying you did it wrong, just pointing that out.)
