It's not necessary to be condesending just because you have more experience than most here with retrofits. Everyone had to start somewhere.

I started a thread to ask how to make my retrofits not crappy like most everyone else. It's a forum. That's what we do.

That said, they don't seem to be the end-all for my personal needs. If you have a personal vendetta against that, then...well, they're called your problems. I'm not trying to start a beef, and I even thanked you for the help in the other thread, so I don't know why you're on my nuts about my opinion of projectors.

Well as I've said before, ANY HID you put in is technically illegal, so do whatever colour you want. 6000k is your best bet if you want it blue-ish

If you live in a harsh condition state where is raining all year long or foggy most of the time , 5K is your best option out there, but like me in Georgia i am ended up with 6000K because it's give me the whitest color out there without any blue or yellow in there., any AC or Can-bus ballast out there will put 6000K into purewhite no blue or blue at all, stay away from cheap ballast another word DC Ballast will shift color.

I lived in Orlando (Sanford to be exact ) and never had an issue with my 6000k's. just adjust the lights down, and move them to the center.
