would mine be considered 3rd gen its a 2012 but it looks like the 2nd gen. its a 2012 base sedan so would it be considered a 3rd gen if its a 2012?

yours would still be 2nd gen, even though it's a 2012.

Note the black spots on the fender. I literally knocked the crap out of the deer. No word yet on what it will cost, or when I will get the car back. It happened yesterday on my way to work. I did not even have time to hit the brake, it was just there.

No, the air bags did not go off and I was able to drive the car to a body shop, after pulling the fender out from the wheel a bit. It still rubbed some, but not continuously. I don't remember feeling much of an impact. The nose of this car is rather soft! It appears that the bumper support is intact.
