You're correct, the OEM lugnuts are conical. I run standard OEM lugnuts on aftermarket wheels currently. I have "tuner" lugnuts too, just aren't using them on this set as I love to use my impact gun to change wheels out (turned down to 90 ft. lbs. of course.)
