I have both. I have never had an issue with mine being in the sun. I will say that the ultragauge gave me an alarm the firts time it hit like 150 degrees or so but then I just disabled the alarm.
they are very comparable. not sure if th UG does metric (not aplicable to me). I have had the UG for a year and change and the SG for close to 5. both work well, both good products. the UG wasn't around when I got my SG. both of mine are pretty much in direct sunlight all the time. no issues yet. |
