That looks to be an incorrect stock photo - here's the link to the only Yaris header on Weapon-R's site: http://www.weapon-r.com/index.php?ac...product&id=607

The Kansai exhaust header is more or less what mine will look like.
Except that one is made with crush bent tubing, such a shame.

That TRD header would add some real nice JDM swag to the Yaris.

I think the Weapon R is much better looking...

...especially at 25% of the cost.

Ive been running a ram air duct into my air box with the opening in the foglight hole. Ive ran 3 tanks this way with no noticeable difference in mpg. Highway power maybe feels better?

Im thinking ill make my own proper CAI using the blox...i really like that and i think i can squeeze it in the bumper...i got hammers...

I got hammers...

I was checking around on ebay and it appears that BLOX also makes a much smaller 4 inch diameter velocity stack filter...

You can tell the smaller filter diameter because it has almost no taper as compared to the 7.5 inch filter, but yet has the same black plastic end cap. The only unknown is the inlet diameter, but that could be determined simply by asking the seller. One negative... it's pricey at $77 including shipping.

edit: from checking around, that may actually be a 4 inch inlet filter and not useable on the Yaris. The seller could confirm whether the filter itself is 4 inch diameter, or the inlet is 4 inch diameter.

Well worse case scenario ill use an aem dry filter. I used a 2.5" vibrant filter when i fab'd the intake on my old xB...but it had a nasty internal lip to reduce it to 2.5" from 3"...friggen joke. I gave that filter away when i traded that in for the Yaris

I just emailed the ebay seller to find out for sure as I'm really curious about that.

I'll be sure to let you know everything that happens on the manifold project. I'm getting a baseline dyno on Thrusday and will post the results here.

Just read the old 2008 thread on Richard Holdener's intake manifold...

Over the last 4 years it appears like there has been a constant string of obstacles and setbacks which have prevented anyone from being able to produce a better intake manifold than the one which is already on the engine.

In the light of what I've just been reading, makes it extremely unlikely that my Yaris is going to run any better with a jiggered 14 year old Corolla manifold on it, even though I'm already into the project for about $1,400 and just getting started!

Nevertheless, I'm going to find out, not to arrive at some goal, but just for the personal enjoyment of following my own uneducated interest in flow design. I like to follow my own intuition just to see where it leads me, and I'm happy to share the details of every event as it unfolds with all of you.

That 2-piece WR header is for a k-series honda.

^ Correct. They never made it for the Yaris. IF there is one on eBay that is for the Yaris, it's made by someone else.

Yeah, I just took another look at that ebay auction. Scrolling down to the bottom, there's a disclaimer on the photo. They're just selling the short header #953-116-108.

So that leaves this Kansai 4-2-1 as being the only long runner header...

The ad says: "Call for Price".
100,000,000,000 yen.

Trust me guys, if there were a long header available from an existing vendor, it would be in my store.

Do you think it'll be a challenge to get the 02 sensor bung in the right place so as not to trigger the check engine light? If you could see there they put it on the Kansai, that might be a big help unless there aren't any on it to begin with.

The real challenge is that the o2 sensor is far enough away to get an accurate reading but not to far away that the results are delayed.

The CEL isn't really an issue with the front o2 as that is getting readings its the rear o2 that triggers the cat efficiency light.
