^ The Toyota T-VIS on the old 3S-GE. At around 4200 it changes to the short runners and the sound and pull of the motor changes.

The two number idea was based on people's guesses -- it's your show, tooter! I'll play however you want to.

I think the torque number will be equally if not more important than whp, though, so it's fun to guess both.

By the way, I can't win, if my guess is the closest, next best guess wins.

No one is going to say this thing might blow 15 extra horsepower? Woosies!!

wouldn't there need to be a greater balance of intake to exhaust to be able to even possibly gain that much more, i.e. a large diameter mid-pipe to ensure higher out flow with the increased inflow.

^ Of course, but we're just having fun guessing right? If you saw my guess, you'd know I was kidding.

That may be the safest guess of all...

Since torque numbers are also being included, and I guessed +2hp at peak, I think the torque will be -3 since the runners are shorter and larger in diameter. The manifold might have greater usefulness with forced induction rather than in a normally aspirated application. It can easily handle being pressurized. I saw the throttle body adaptor. They're machining a smooth transition between the smaller bore diameter of the throttle body and the larger diameter of the manifold inlet.

I think I'll go with +4hp and slightly reduced torque. I'd love for Golddeenoh's (or even mazilla's) guesses to be correct instead!

What can I say? I'm an optimist. Plus I'm shooting for a somewhat similar setup myself.

LOL, tooter you are so cool.

tk, I meant a whp and a torque number, both peak. That is the format for guessing.

I am soooo chompin' at the bit over this one.

I just want to see it on the car and on the dyno (along with numbers).

the mock up you have with the intake and the flange looks good.
