Tire size?
I'm planning to get 15x7 rims. What tire size should i go with? 195/55/15 or 205/55/15? It seems that to retain the overall circumference of the OEM tires, i need 205/55/15, but the tires i'm getting only comes in 195/55/15. Would i have a problem mounting them on?

^ like i mentioned, i know 205/55/15 is closes to OEM specs. HOwever, using 195/55/15, i would still be in the tolerable limit. My concern would be, mounting a 195 width tire on a 7 inch wide rim? Would that pose any problem?

most likely, a bit of a stretch, but it would work, I would not do it, the 195's would cause too many problems

When I first bought new rims for my old 01 Civic the dealer was selling these 15 by 7 in rims, which they claimed were Honda rims, but they were aftermarket rims with A peel on H sticker in the middle. Anyway my stock tires were 185/65/15 which the installer claimed would fit, he got them on but I knew I needed a wider tire. I then went and bought 205 size tires from tirerack and the fit was excellent. Like Black Yaris said I would definitely go with at least A 205 size tire. You say the reason you want to go 195 is because the brand tire you want does not come in 205, have you tried both tirerack and 1010tire. I have the stock tires and alloys which I believe are on a 5.5 inch rim, whenever I either come up with some extra cash or these tires wear out I plan on going with the 205's. But they won't look as good on a 5.5inch rim compared to a 7 inch rim.
