Nope...and the word is that there will be tweaks to it that will actually change it enough to reduce performance as opposed to overseas. It happened with the S II as well. One of them for example is the carriers here hamstring some functionality for one reason or another. Case in Point on my Samsung Charge (Verizon) they do not leave the DSP Audio Processor unlocked and it reduces the audio capabilities of the device greatly. The only option is to root the device and the Charge isn't part of the list of "easy" to root devices.

Verizon made the phone a bit more thicker (due to LTE antenna, load of B.S.) and Google Wallet blocked. Verizon also messed up the HTC Incredible 4g LTE. I wonder what changes cosmetically will come to Verizon's version... ![]() I think the Galaxy S II looks great! The Galaxy S II was/is an incredible phone. High quality pictures from the rest of the phones on the market, even up until now. 4.8 inch is too big for me at least. I cant wait to test out the new UI on it. I love Android 4.0.3 software. Verizon customers already on the unlimited data plan have until June 27th to pre order the phone to keep their unlimited data...unless they buy this or any other phone for retail price... |
