I have been using Mobil1 0-30w for 4 years now, and have been happy with it. I now have 61,000 miles on my Yaris. This car has been problem free. Original brakes are still on it. Tires are Continental ProContact ECOPlus.

Awesome! When I need some new tires I'd love to get some LRR ones. I shall keep those in mind! It'll probably be a while, though.

Just ran through the second tank with the new oil and filter, hit my all time high of 48mpg for the second time. Also trying premium (91 octane) for the first time with this tank, so I'll have to report back with the newest numbers at the next refill.

I also drained out about 300ml of oil, out of fears I'd overfilled. Now the fill is right on the stick, so I feel a little better now (even though I know it probably made no difference at all).

Thanks guys.

Got 48.9, best tank ever! I really want to crack 50mpg, if only once.

I might be able to help you with that. Do you have a scanguage II, or like it? I noticed you are mostly highway, which will make it more difficult to get to 50mpg on a tank.

No, I don't have any kind of fuel efficiency gauge. It's also hard because where I live is mostly flat; I feel I've done pretty well given my environment.

What would you recommend I try? I use DFCO, coast up to / down what hills are here, pulse and glide, and I turn the engine off at prolonged stops (one traffic light where I work, and train tracks where I live).
