I'd say to go without the spacer unless you notice the wheel hits the caliper. As WeeYari said, on a 16" - it most likely will not hit.

If it does hit, most local tire shops carry 5mm wheel spacers and they can be had for $10-$20.

Hey guys,

Need help. Planning on changing my rims to Rota RBs also. Will a 17sx7.5 4x100 with +45 offset fit my car? Planning on wrapping them also with 205/45/17 tires. Considering also that I have lowering springs installed.

Right now my car has this set-up: Rota Destiny rims that are 17s with an offset of +42 running on 205/40/17 tires. Having also the same lowering springs. With this set-up there is no rubbing whatsoever.

Thanks all.

That is a crazy law. .
Have you seen Formula cars race in the rain?

The purpose of our fenders is to contain water spray. Tread extending out past the fender would generate huge rooster-tails of spray when driven during rain. Not to mention stones and other tread pick-up.
NOT a desirable situation for following drivers.
