what's a good strut bar to get please? Any recommendations are welcome :)

You mean front Strut Tower Brace?
Take your pick, they all do exactly the same thing (which is not that much): Ultra Racing Tanabe (my favorite) Nitto Cusco Beatrush

if you get that one, jack up the front of the car when you install it so it's adjusted evenly left/right -- recommended per the instructions.

Having it off the ground allows you to preload the bar with the towers having zero deflection from weight. That's the official answer at least.
