Not true. Some states do not require front and rear plates. The states that require front plates, require front plates. ALL motor vehicles except motorcycles sold in the US must be capable of mounting a front plate, by Federal law. If the manufacturer does not include a bracket for mounting the plate, then they just screw a plate mount into the front bumper, like on the Yaris. Enforcement of any state's front plate law is by local PD/HP. It seems they give a pass on some cars (especially Corvettes) but not others. I drove my Miata for 7 years without a plate and was never hassled for it; one time a cop went to the trouble to look at my front bumper but didn't say/do anything. So it is basically a crap shoot.
BAck to T-Sports' car, what is the hole in the bumper cover for?
