FS Remote Key Transponder Blank Key and Transmitter

Hi guys, here I have a transmitter key that I bought to see if I could use with my 2012 Yaris, but it seems it only works for first and second generation Yaris. The back of the key say FCC ID: HYQ12BBY, IC: 1551A-12BBY
It also says 'Denso'

It is easy to program, just not in my car...

Price is $25 shipped anywhere in the Continental USA.

I do Paypal

I'm def interested. Can I program it myself or will I need the dealer to do that for me?

As an FYI, that key is only for a Camry, Corolla or RAV4. FCC ID: HYQ12BBY has never been used for the Yaris.

Scott, how did you know what vehicle that key was for? If I post my new blank remote on here can you tell me if it's for a 2010 yaris?

Thx

The FCC ID is printed in the owner's manual. I just looked at the 2012 manual, and there are two FCC IDs: HYQ12BBY and HYQ23AAA listed. Looking at the submittal documents via the FCC, the first is the key fob, and the second is the door lock receiver / TPMS receiver (in the 2012 the two are merged into one box).

So, the OP's key will theoretically work in his 2012's.

Here is the complete list:

2007 LB/Sedan: FCC ID: MOZRI−20BTY (key fob)

2008-2011 LB/Sedan: FCC ID:MOZB41TG (key fob), FCC ID:MOZB21RG (door lock receiver)

2012 Liftback: FCC IDs: HYQ12BBY (key fob) and HYQ23AAA (door lock receiver/TPMS receiver)

Its very frustrating to find the right transmitter, I have bought two off the Internet that were supposed to work on my 07 Sedan but neither had the FCC sticker on it them and neither of them work.
