Just an upate on this incase anybody is ever interested.

I replaced just the front tyres with 175/70/13 's. The rear still has 155/80/13 's.

Have not replaced the rear yet as those tyres still have plenty of tread. Will get it done in the next 6 months.

Here in New Zealand vehicles have to pass a WOF (Warrent of Fitness). I was told by multiple people that the car will not pass its WOF if its running different size tyres front and rear. This was incorrect and it only applies per axel. Car passed it WOF with flying colours.

That aside. Just want to check if anybody else is running their cars with different size tyres front and rear? There dont seem to be any problems but was just wondering if it would affect ABS?
