so back to this:

As for where it goes, you have quite a few options at the fuse box in the engine bay. Ideally, you'll want to hook it up in place of another 10 amp fuse that only receives power on ACC or IGN. I'd check ECTS and EFI2 to see if they have voltage on key off, I can't remember. Even if you have a constant 12v, the FIC has very little parasitic drain (pretty sure I actually have mine hooked up to a constant 12v). Also, drilling the block - not as daunting as it sounds. Use the fittings I have in my guide, seal it up with some permatex, and you'll be fine. Keep it up! It's worth it in the end
