Best offset that won't rubb

I have some 16x6.5 mini type s 7 spoke rims but I want way wider.
What is the best rim size to get a little poke. I am willing to fender flare.
I really like these but what staggered offset should I get?

Please help. I really like the orange slammed yaris with plaid hood and I think he is running 16x8 steels. But I like where his tire ends

I have 15x8 with 25 offset on the back and it does not rub unless I am on a big bump....I am on DF210s and rolled fender...did not pull fender though...

16x8 with 0 offset would poke....you will have to run a stretched tire to make it not rub...and the 8" wheel in the front may poke more than looks good.

In the front on mine I have 15x7 with 35 offset and it is fairly flush...I put the rears on at it pokes witht he wider rin and 25 offset...but still looks a bit odd.

Pics please? I am interested to see if 15s would be better than 16s. also do you ever have problems with the front rubbing with the 7"s
