Intake and header for sure will make you fail visual. I had a Neuspeed intake on my GTI, passed the sniffer with flying colors, but failed visual. They can't fail visual for the item that has a CARB sticker!!
The EO number is entered into the system, giving the smog tech a waiver on that item.
