Now you just confused me even more. There's three wires coming out of the switch socket.
Black (which I grounded) Green (in picture) Red (in picture). Where does each go? If I want to ignore the switch light and just have functional fog lights, can I stick with the instructions in 6(b) and just merge green and red to 3 and 13? And leave black grounded? It depends on there position in the switch connector. There should be four wires entering the green connector.
