What do u recommend tokikos shocks or trd shocks!!
Thinking about upgrading the shocks. Does it make big difference on handling compared to stock shocks with eibach pro kit.

From my understanding is TRD is made by KYB which is a very good company and brand however tokiko has slightly higher valving but they are both pretty comparable. You cant go wrong with either choice.

I have no experience with Tokico dampers however I now have well over 100,000 kilometers on my TRD suspension and it still offers go-cart like handling.

I've used both on my car, and they are comparable, the Tokicos my be a damped a little better. I see no reason to pay for the red paint on the TRD product.
Tokicos from my store: $349.95 which includes shipping: http://shop.microimageonline.com/Shocks-Struts_c21.htm TRD Shocks from www.trdsparks.com: p/n PTR04-52061 TRD Sport Shocks MSRP: $500.00 Your Sale Price: $429.00

Been running the Tokicos Blues back and front for a month now. They are a great shock no complaints and great quality. You are paying more for the TRD badge and red colour, and getting a very similar product compared to the Tokico. And with lowering springs as well they are stiff enough but not to stiff. Might have some rubbing in the rear still if car is loaded but what ya expect with lowered cars. I would personally recommend the Tokico Blues. That just my 2 cents

I have the TRD Sportivo dampers (KYB made). It was the only aftermarket dampers around at the time, and I also got it before the crazy price hike on them. They're good dampers, but I would go with the Tokico's since they're cheaper and more dampened than the TRD's. More bang for your buck there.
