500,000 miles on my Yaris.

In the courier industry Toyota is the go-to for a reason. These high mileages often surprise people, those of us that drive for a living are used to seeing 500,000 mile vehicles quite often. One thing that did surprise me about the Yaris however, these specific cars were company owned and driven by employees. As you can imagine people don't exactly treat their work cars like their personal vehicles...surprise surprise. Given that, I was stunned to find that a car with dozens of different drivers each with their own individual bad habits, each under pressure to be on time had managed to last just as long as the ones personally owned and cared for by my employees. This was definitely why after looking at like a billion other car models, I ended up with the Yaris.
Those stupid pay-per-review reports online don't even hit the nail on the head when they talk about it.
You have to go talk to the owners of these cars in order to really get the right idea about it.
Sure, It doesn't have new fancy technology all over it.
Sure, It's not the most innovative car in the market.
Yet, It's got a tried and true powertrain and plenty of owners to prove that!
I get attached to my vehicles, last thing I want is a 100K throwaway car.

Especially with the heart ache of losing my Princess after having her only 3 years.
She didn't even make it to 100K miles before everything broke down on it!
