Have you ever had one of those hinge kits in your hands compared to a pare of standard hinges it replaces? You are lookin at maybe a 10lbs increase total on the car

Lambo doors will only look good on a 3 door hatch. Well thats my thaughts away. It will just look weird if it was on a 5 door hatch or sedan.

thanks toyota-belta for givin everyone an idea on how lambo doors will look on a sedan. Though those wheels doesnt compliment the sedan.

If you do it on a 4 door, the rear two need to be suicide. There was a celica at the dealer with lambo doors and it looked really awkward to get in and out of

it is a bit awkward to get out of. you have to push out a bit then upwards after..it's crazy if you have bucket seats in the car.

Lambo door kits open "LAMBO" and "REGULAR"... so dont think for a second it looses the regular feature as soon as you install them. I speak of good kits here(LSD, Vertical Doors, AutoLoc), not the crap $299 eBay bullshit.

i'm not talking bad about lambo doors. i personally like them but what i dont like is the hassle of opening and closing the doors after installation.

for the 3-doors, imagine a sliding door, van style... Don't have to worry about hitting the car next to you, or the ceiling (a certain concern with gullwings and lambo doors). Just an idea!
