It's just Krylon spray paint from Walmart for plastic.
It stands up real well and I live in South Texas. Yeah, I did pieces with prepwork and without and a bit of prep would be your friend. Light standing on the smooth plastic will help it adhere and cleaning the patterned ones helps avoid debris. One major piece of advice, if you do it, don't get over zealous and put them back in before giving the paint a chance to really bond to prevent chipping. At least a few days. I did and chipped a bunch of spots and it drove me crazy. So I would strip the paint and start over. Plus side, if you do mess up the plastic is a lot stronger then many think. I've sanded them, blasted them with a pressure washer, soaked them in things like gas and paint thinner and they held up great. Lol, but be patient when you do It and it'll save you the headache. |
