Coolant sitting low (3 door 2007 Yaris)

It does evaporate a bit over time, so that is likely why it is a bit low.

Toyota uses their own long life coolant, which is available pre-mixed at the parts department. Topping off the overflow container is not a bad idea. Also, while the car is cold, remove the radiator hose cap and verify that it is full as well.

Is it safe to say that there is no way to avoid the stealership to get this premixed stuff? thanks for your help.

Dealer here sell the pre-mix for about 18$ the gallon. I don't think they are trying to rob us.

I know you probably get the green stuff for 4$, but i think it is worth the difference.

$18 is not bad if i can find it at that price near me.
