so you're not rubbing because your running an improper tire size for the car? That would make your whole post irrelevant. You should be running 195/50/16 for a stock diameter.

You also say you have NEVER rubbed yet in the very next sentence you say you did rub. That’s contradictory.

So basically, yes you rub even though you run an undersized tire. If you ran a proper tire size you’d probably be rubbing all over the place.

for starters, im posting up my experience so theres no need to be an ass, just trying to help here. And i said that i only rubbed when i went to PICK UP the wheels. I was still running stock then and ive said that i have never rubbed ON THIS CURRENT setup. I also check with my mechanic before getting the wheels, he said it would be fine and id trust his judgment over yours any day of the week. Also from your post it seems your running with the same setup as me? if so then why not post your own experiences?

i got 16x7 +40s w/ 195/50r16 all around lowered on trds with zero rub, and i drive hard. :)

Micro Image forums, online store and shop are now closed. It was a great eight year run, but it was time to focus on other things. I'm still selling parts on eBay under micro*image seller ID and customers can still make requests for anything specific.

16x8 +25 will work with at least one of these or a combination
-camber
-tire stretch
-fender rolling
