Re #13, I find it funny that he would take it to the extreme to change his clothes at work, and to change into shorts (I imagine) to mitigate sweating (my understanding is that A/C makes a 1 MPG difference). I'm thrifty, but I'm not going to keep the A/C off here (nor anywhere else with a similar climate) when A/C will help re comfort.

Re #18, I can't really explain it. I find post #18 funny for the same reason I find Why? 's posts funny. They seem to have similar senses of humor.
