I'm 6'2. The ergonomics of the yaris just isn't catered to a guy my size. The "big stick" for lack of a better term keeps me from having to reach down like im tying my shoes every time I want to change a gear.

Small car, big stick - goes together like peanut butter and jelly. Haha

It's not that bad at all. But certain things can be a pain in the ass, such as the low shifter. I've also got an 05 echo hatch and to be honest that one is even worse. It seems like everything is low, door pad, steering wheel, shifter, centre console etc. The yaris isn't that bad.

. One of my two closest dealers (Fred Haas Toyota World) has only an oblong TRD choice that I don't like as much as some of the knobs posted on this thread. I'm going to check the other dealer close to me (Gullo Toyota) to see if they have one or more of the knobs posted here.

Hurst Cueball shifters made since the 1960's have always been my favorite shift knobs and I put them on every vehicle I own.

(2012 Yaris)

(2012 Tacoma)
