I think you missed it when i said that is what i did back then.

You would play the sub from about 100 to 80hz down, so they play mid-bass.

Its better to have the following:

components front
6x9 3way rear? (as some say it will remove the soundstage from the front speakers, is this true?)
6x9 midbass

Then subs inside the trunk



What do guys think?

Without a Digital Sound Processor there is no sound-stage to start with.

Any speakers behind you will pull the stage to the rear, that is why we don't have speakers in the rear! only in FRONT of us. ("we" = pure SQ system)

6x9 speakers in the front door, I don't think so. Too much work.

Deaden doors, trunk and floor

-Components infront
-Better 6x9 speakers (not a 3way or 2way) just better speakers to replace the factory set
-Ported subs in the trunk

Budget wise, I am not going to purchase everything all at once, maybe 1speaker at a time

How about this?
