I may have asked this question on a previous thread..can't remember. Can one rent a car (at a reasonable price) and drive from Vladivostok to Khabarovsk ?
If so, is this an insane adventure for someone who doesn't speak any Russian ? I could bring a friend who speaks pretty good Russian...he was previously married to a woman from Moscow and his mother-in-law and step-daughter lived with them for much of the time they were married. Would the adventure, in addition to the landscape be worth the effort?...Or would flying from Vladivostok to Khabarovsk and renting a car as needed make more sense ?
