Also, do you have normal keys or the entry and start system? If you have the entry and start system, the body ECU is involved as well.
If you do not, the things I would check are: 1. 15A AM2 fuse under the bonnet 2. Check the coil packs to make sure they haven't been damaged 3. Check for +12 volts on the brown wire of the #1 coil pack with the ignition switch on, to make sure the IG2 relay is working.
