Much nicer looking/proportioned than the 2016 Mazda2 hatchback version - minus the fugly allow wheels. It's a shame that it will probably never see the USA market, and Mazda will continue to focus on the Mazda3 here, just like Toyota would rather focus on the Corolla for their mainstream "numbers sold" game.

I like the look of the new Scion iA overall (since it is a a Mazda2 sedan), but I'm still not a fan of the gaping sci-fi front grill area (no fog light housings?). The front of the Mazda2 sedan looks far better, not surprisingly. At this point, it looks to be a toss-up for me between a 2009-2011 Yaris sedan (white, still first choice), a 2016 Scion iA (black), a 2015 Yaris SE Hatch (black), or possibly a 2016 manual Honda HR-V (white) when I finally purchase my next vehicle towards the end of the year.
