TPMS on '90s Corolla rims?

I want to pick up 14" steelies from the '90s Corollas for my next set of winter tires. My question is whether the stock TPMS sensors will fit the older rims not designed for them.

It really depends on the rims. Some fairly new rims wont even work with the sensor (Like my 07 Toyota TTE wheels from Europe).
