help with my stereo?
Hi all--I just bought a 2012 Yaris. It was formerly a fleet car, which means it's still the sedan body style. Before I got it, the packet with the iPod connector and manuals were stolen out of the car. Now I'm trying to figure out how to get my iPod to play. I bought the iPod cable kit (PT545-00082-CK) but it says it's only intended for models up to 2011. The connectors seem to fit, but the stereo doesn't detect the iPod. Anybody have any ideas? Is it the wrong cable? Do I need to do something special to set it up? I can only find info for the 2012hatchbacks, which I don't have. Thanks!

Hi, are you connecting it up to the factory fitted radio or an aftermarket? Try connecting the ipod to another stereo and vise versa to test if either is working
