OP mentioned Italian law prohibits non-stock tire size, which is strange considering he's able to run 16" wheels...

I guess he's restricted to JDM OEM fitments, which include 195/50/16.

But, if that's true, he should be able to go with JDM OEM fitment 205/45/17.
