The C160 is a 6 speed as you already know. In order to have 6 gears you need a longer input and output shaft. The output shaft also carries one of the gears that turns the differential. The gear is part of the shaft. That shaft will not fit into a 5 speed transmission and is why non of the 5 speed final drives ratios will work in a 6 speed. |
