Looks good. I just ordered a Vitz emblem as well to replace the Yaris one I have. I also got a TRD for the front grill and a VVT-i to replace the rear "Toyota" one. They won't be shipped for a while but I'll post pics when it's all done

What's the process? Fishing line to remove old emblem and some goo gone to get rid of the stickiness before installing the new emblem?

I was going to use a heat gun on the emblems and then use dental floss to remove them. If there as still adhesive stuck on the car than I was going to use goo gone to remove it.

Here's how I did it:
Use dental floss to remove the original emblems. Then, heat the remaining 2-sided tape with a hair dryer and gently peel it off bit by bit with your fingernails. Clean the surface with a soft cotton cloth and a little goo gone. Finish by applying wax to the area. To install new emblems, use blue painters tape to mark the location. Then, clean the area with an alcohol wipe. Let it dry completely. Peel the paper from the 2-sided tape and very carefully stick on your new emblem. Apply a little heat to the emblem and hold it firmly in place for a minute. Don't wash your car for a few days. |

I happened to buy my car in the summer and taking the rear emblem off was no harder than separating a peanut butter sandwich. Just pulled it off.

I've toyed with the idea of removing emblems except for the bit 'yota ones; and plasti-dipping those black. Going full blackout. I worry I won't like it, so I haven't gone through with it. |
