Offset and lowering on 205/45/16s

The offset is fine. I run the same tire size, but with the DF's the car will not sit low enough and you will have a big gap between the fender and the tire (almost like stock). You might consider 205/50/16 if you want the lowered look without the wheel gap.

I was considering 205/50/16s but I've read posts by another user (can't recall his username at the moment) running this size tire on the same size wheel with lowering springs and he said he's experienced slight rubbing. His offset is +40 I believe though. His car does look great with the setup but I'd rather not run the risk.
