Ford had this system in the 80s as I recall...
Then there was my 74 Bug with a one pint washer tank pressurized with a hose from the spare tire. You mmight get 30 short squirts before empty and refill was a chore. "Hmmm the windshield needs cleaning....should I use the washer?....I havnt done it in a month....yes by gosh Im going to do it!....what the hell life is short....here she goes!....WOOO HOOOO!"
