Thinking I may save gas, I once overinflated my tyres by just a few pounds... and found my car bounced around like a basketball! Like justanotherdrunk, I simply follow the manufacturer's cold pressure recommendations and that seems to work very well overall. I don't have the TPMS in my alloy wheels, so I check my tyre pressure regularly.
