Is my 2017 Yaris SE w/ manual transmission extremely rare? - Toyota Yaris Forums

Congrats on the manual SE.

They were also rare back in 2015, and I had to go out-of-state to find and buy one. At the time, there wasn't even a dozen listed in the entire country - probably because they are much more difficult to sell today, and have only a small niche fanbase.

I'm 18 months into my ownership experience thus far, and there still isn't another vehicle that I would rather have in its place at anywhere near its price-point. I will say though that after having driven nothing but manuals since I started driving my first car in 1982, that I am finally ready to go automatic on my next daily-driving vehicle in 2020 or 2022. I still enjoy driving manual, overall, but know that I am probably getting too old for it now.

I'm not a fan of the two-tone color scheme, but I like the shade of red being used now. Very nice. Anyway, I hope that you enjoy your manual SE as much as I do mine. Do yourself a favor and add a TRD rear-sway-bar to it - it's a noticeable difference in handling/stability.
