I use Walmart's SuperTech 5w-30 full synthetic, which is $17 for a 5-quart jug, or $5 more than their dino oil. Mobil 1 is $25. It seems to be a decent low-cost synthetic from everything I've read. My car is weekend driver/road-trip car. I'm sure it would be fine with dino oil, but an extra $5 for an oil-change-and-a-half worth of oil is worth it to me for synthetic.
