Swap standard radio for Touch&GO
Hi,
My wife just got a used 2012 Yaris 3 that came with the standard radio. There is a USB connector in the gloove compartment box, so that is an added bonus. I would like to know if it is possible to swap this radio for a Touch&GO version with bluetooth. She's not interested in navigation, only bluetooth for her phone and audio streaming. If there's bluetooth in it, I suppose I must retrofit a microphone somewhere and maybe the extra buttons on the steering wheel, although these are not mandatory. Is there anyone who did this and could give me some solid advice? Thanks! |

Probably cheaper and better to go aftermarket head unit makers. New o.e.m. head units can be ridiculously expensive for what you get in my opinion.
