you guys realize that the last american built car that had 100% american parts was produced back in the late 1950's. since then the majority of parts are from japan mexico canada and europe... take a look at some of the ignition components on a late model corvette, they are made by kawasaki. and a lot of parts on say a camry are made here in the usa. my point is people who buy american cars to support the american product are not supporting as much as they think... i may be wrong but i remember reading about a particular toyota model (camry?), american factory built, using more american made parts than some GM and ford cars built cars at the time. anyways... thats just my two cents. if people did more research on a car they like they would be surprised what they are buying.

one good example is the fusion vs. camry vs. accord. the camry and accord are both built in the US. i think i remember reading the fusion being built in mexico. so toyota and honda actually have the more AMERICAN car. gm also builds a crap load of cars in canada. i guess when chevy says "an american revolution", they mean STOP building cars here and START building cars elsewhere...
