Oh wow, sad I missed this. I tried to find the Facebook posts or anything on CL about it but no dice. I have to imagine someone snagged it at that price.

From what I understand, he still has it, has lowered the price and if it doesn't sell by a certain time, is considering donating it. Tom hasn't been around here much lately, but I heard he posted the info I stated above on the Yaris Facebook group. Might consider finding and reaching out to him there, if you're really interested in the car.

I myself have been wrestling with the idea of buying his engine and trans for my car, as I work toward a 2ZZ swap.
