When I turn the ignition to ACC in my Yaris SE 2012, the cabin air system blower fan starts up for some odd reason, even when I have the fan control knob turned to off.
Any way to stop that from happening? I like to sit in my car sometimes for 30+min to power up and use my smartphone. But the batteries drain faster with the blower motor spinning. Any way to turn off the blower motor completely? Thanks. |

Sorry iam_elmanny,
No easy solution yet. I was able to find out where the power dongle attaches to the blower fan, and conceivably I could disconnect it, but that would mean the cabin air blower would simply not work any more (no A/C, no blowing of air on hot days, no front window defrost, no nothing) |
