start by cleaning the battery terminals, thats always #1 when it comes to electrical faults, #2 is, how old is the battery and what condition is it in....the yaris has an odd setup with a semi auto start feature and if the battery is weak it just doesnt bother to try
if both #1 and #2 check out, then yes the ignition switch itself is the next in line to check/test....the other option would be a transponder/antitheft if equiped..itcould be weak and do the same thing |
