Simple for others doesn't translate to simple for us unfortunately. Because the USDM Yaris has a nasty plastic blocky shaft as a pedal with no pin holding the pedal in place as it's molded to the plastic, I had to find a replacement pedal. Which is where the IS250 pedal comes into play.

The sensor plug is identical and the pedal can just be plugged in without any modification. However the mounting holes on the pedal assembly are reversed on the IS pedal, which requires you to open the pedal assembly and transplant the inards to the Yaris pedal.

Unfortunately the angle of the pedal shaft is totally wrong and you wouldn't get more than 20% in to the pedal travel before it hits the carpet, so you have to do some bending to the shaft to make it work.

Definitely makes the cabin look sportier. I still need to make some minor adjustments to the pedal, since it's angled back more than I would like, but otherwise feels very nice.
has anyone else done this? so all you did was swap out the electronic throttle components over to lexus pedal and then had tobend the shaft a bit? did yoy verify youre getting 100% throttle?

I have, except I bought the NCP131 Vitz RS pedal bracket from Amayama so I didn't have to bend my pedal arm. Bolted straight in like factory. Not sure if it works in the 2nd gens though.
