I've had a similar issue with my old Yaris before. I found that airbag lights can be a real pain. Since you've already tried disconnecting the battery and messing with the connectors, it sounds like you might need a more advanced scanner to get to the root of the problem. Sometimes the issue is with the connectors under the seats or the airbag module itself. If you’re still having trouble, taking it to a Toyota dealership could be the next step, but check if there are any local auto electricians who might offer a cheaper fix.
