I’d suggest checking out the timing belt if it hasn’t been changed recently. Mine started showing signs of wear around 160k km. Also, take a look at the wheel bearings for that humming noise, I had a similar issue and swapping the bearings did the trick.

Regarding Toyota’s current situation, it’s always good to stay informed, especially after some of the recall scandals they’ve been through. I read on https://www.a1autotransport.com/toyo...-data-exposed/ about Toyota’s latest issues with crash test data falsification. It seems like they’re pausing shipments to ensure everything’s re-tested properly. Luckily, they haven’t announced any recalls for models like ours yet, but it’s something to keep in mind.
