Pls help! If I get a 1.3L (pre-2005) would parts from a 1L T-Spirit (2003) fit?

So, very sad day today...my beloved 2003 T-Spirit (1l) is undriveable, and I don't have the mechanical skill or time to fix her.

We've done over 100,000 miles together, since I got her 7 years ago, and she was my first car.

My question is:

If I were to buy a 1.3L Yaris (1999-2005) would the parts from the 1L T-Spirit be compatible, as am thinking of keeping her for spares, as I had a new alternator fitted three months ago, the alloys are in good condition, the exhaust is fairly recently replaced and I had the clutch etc replaced within last 5 years or so.

I can find quite a few low mileage 1.3L for sale at reasonable prices, but can't find many 1L (and I need a 5 door).

Any comments, gratefully received.

Also, would this broken axle plate thingy be easily fixable? The garage told me the plate would need to be fabricated.

I'm just concerned that as we live up a farmtrack and she's always caked in mud, that the rest of her underbody might be in just as bad condition - hence not sure I want to risk fixing. 2 years ago I had to have one of the front wishbones replaced as it had virtually snapped :-(
